City of Vermillion Recruits New Police Chief – The City of Vermillion declared the employment of Crystal Brady as the new Vermillion Police Chief.
Boss Brady previously joined the Vermillion Police Department as a Police Officer in 2000.
Preceding that, she worked with the City of Vermillion/Clay County Emergency Communications Center as a Dispatcher and as a prison guard with the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
Since joining the Vermillion Police Department, Brady has filled in as a Police Officer and a Detective.
She has filled in as the Investigations Lieutenant beginning around 2013.
She is an alum of USD and the Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command.
