Governor DeWine celebrates the first day of this year’s Ohio State Fair – Governor Mike Devine celebrated the grand opening of this year’s Ohio State Fair on Wednesday, according to a press release.

Ohio’s First Lady, Fran Devine, was in attendance with her husband, Lieutenant Governor John Husted, and his second wife, Tina Husted.
Governor Devin is excited to announce that the Ohio State Fair will return this summer.
“Very, very exciting.” After the cabinet meeting and the ribbon-cutting ceremony in the fairgrounds, the governor and First Lady Devin watched the fair.
OSHP says there will be security personnel at state and county fairs during the period from July 27 to August 7. The state canceled the fair.
Due to the pandemic in 2020, and last year it closed it to the public.
The fair will give us a total of 12 days to come together and celebrate the great state of Ohio and everything we have.
