Scaloni will continue to coach Argentina through the 2026 World Cup – Lionel Scaloni will stay as Argentina’s public group mentor through the 2026 World Cup.

Chiqui Tapia, leader of the Argentine Football Affiliation, made the declaration after Tuesday night’s 3-0 win over Jamaica in the Albiceleste’s close-to-last tuneup match during the current year’s Reality Cup.
“We keep on wagering in the exhaustive public group project,” Tapia said.
Scaloni, 44, supplanted Jorge Sampaoli as a mentor after Argentina lost to France in the round of 16 at the 2018 World Cup.
Argentina won last year’s Copa América for its most memorable significant title since the 1993 Copa América and is on a 35-game unbeaten streak since a misfortune to Brazil at the Copa América on July 2, 2019.
